Well January is over and the first signs of spring are in the air. The birds are singing loudly and the bulbs are peeping through.

I love this time of year, the world begins to wake up from the depths of winter and a feeling of anticipation for new beginnings starts to build

What new beginnings have you got planned for his spring? I am looking forward to lovely walks with my dog, enjoying the beautiful countryside not too far from home. I'm looking forward to starting a journey on the path of life, starting a new era, in a new role.

Life is full of new adventures and new experiences, opportunities to meet new people, make new friends. It's so easy to miss out on all that makes life good, especially at the moment with the world marking time until covid 19 is under control.

The humdrum, everyday things get in the way and it is difficult to focus on the good aspects of life. I am always asking my clients to look for the positive things that have happened in their week. Just looking for the little things that have been good can lift our spirits and encourage us to looking for the wonderful things happening around us.

On my last walk it was raining but still so many things to enjoy. The lichen and the moss growing on the trees, the catkins and the gorse in bloom, all signs that spring is on its way, bringing with it new beginnings, new adventures.

So why not just take a few moments each day to draw breath, look around and notice all the things we have to be glad for, it doesn't have to be big things, just a smile from a stranger maybe or having a cup of tea made for you because when we the notice the good things in our life it is so much easier to feel positive and live in the moment, enjoying all the wonderful things life has to offer.
